The following is a note from my wife who has completed the Avon walk for Breast Cancer Boston, which raised $4.6million is one weekend. The walk consisted of 2 days, 39.3 miles (Full Marathon on Saturday, Half on Sunday), Now my wife (SWMBO) is undertaking the Susan G Komen 3 day, 60 mile walk for Breast Cancer. Many people have asked why I’m walking. I walk because I can, and I walk because I cannot walk away. In addition to the many family members I’ve lost to cancer, some other reasons I’m walking are the frightening statistics below:

Every three minutes another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer, every fourteen minutes another woman loses her own battle with the disease.

Approximately 3 million women are living with breast cancer, and 1 million of those women don’t know it.

1 out of every 4 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer.

This little beauty was purchase in North Dartmouth, MA. Not generally a great location for buying a classic car. The car is a daily driven car, even in the snow in the winter. The car gets approximately 15,000 miles a year put on it.
